     The last day of swimming for 2010 is September 15th.. Daily hours are 6am until 10pm. Many local, state and federal laws govern pools and the Umbrella Association has developed rules for your protection, safety and enjoyment. You can view or download them below.
 
 

SWIMMING POOL RULES


1. There is no lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk.
2. The pool will generally be open daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day, weather
permitting, from the hours of6:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m., unless otherwise posted. Only
lap swimming is allowed in the pool before 10:00 a.m. The pool may not be reserved for
private parties.
3. Use of the pool is restricted to Umbrella Association members, their tenants and guests
on a first come, first served basis. All guests must be accompanied by a Museum Park
resident at all times. There is a limit of 2 guests per household on weekends and holidays
and 5 guests per household on weekdays. Weekends begin at 5:00 PM on Friday to
closing Sunday at 10:00 PM. The Third and Fourth of July will be considered a holiday.
4. It is strongly recommended that you do not swim alone in the pool at any time.
Additionally, no one under the age of 16 may swim without an adult being present.
5. Persons who do not have swimming competency will not be allowed in the pool area
unless accompanied by a responsible person capable of assistance in the event of injury
or incapacity.
6. You must shower before entering the pool.
7. You must not enter the pool area with a contagious or infectious condition, open wounds
or abrasions, wearing bandages or with excessive sunburn.
8. Persons who are ill or under the influence of alcohol or chemical substances may not use
the pool. All children who are not toilet trained must wear "swimmers" when entering
the pool. Diapers must be changed in the washrooms (not on the pool deck) and the
diaper disposed of in a plastic bag and placed in the garbage can.
9. No drinking, eating, or chewing gum while in the pool.
10. Smoking is prohibited in the pool area and all other areas of the club.
11. Alcohol is prohibited in the pool area.
12. Pets, glassware, underwater breathing apparatus, knives dangerous equipment, and illegal chemical substances are prohibited in the pool area.
13. No electric devices are permitted in the pool or pool area. Battery operated radios,
portable TVs, tape/disc players may only be operated with head phones.
14. Playpens, bicycles, tricycles, and other vehicles are not permitted in the pool area.
15. No glass containers are permitted. Any food or beverages brought into the pool area
must be in sealed, plastic containers. Food must be consumed in the designated eating
area on the north end of the pool deck.
16. All refuse must be placed in the provided bins.
17. Proper swimming attire should be worn at all times. No cut-off jeans or any clothing
with metal buttons or zippers will be permitted. Robes and/or appropriate swimsuit
coverings must be worn in all common areas.
18. Shoulder length or longer hair must be tied backlkept together while swimming.
19. Boisterous, rough, dangerous activities or behavior, or behavior that interferes with the
permitted use of the facilities by others, is prohibited.
20. No horseplay/running is allowed in the pool area. No splashing is permitted other than
which occurs during normal swimming actions. NO DIVING is permitted in the pool.
21. Pool furniture may not be removed from the deck area.
22. Deck chairs can not be reserved. At busy times, building staff may remove personal
items from deck chairs left unattended for more than thirty (30) minutes.
23. Each person in the pool area is responsible for removing all personal articles and putting
all refuse in the bins provided. All toys, rafts and other swim paraphernalia shall be
removed from the pool and pool area at the end of each day. Personal items that are not
removed may be discarded.
24. A phone has been installed in the pool area for emergency purposes only. For
emergencies in the pool or pool area requiring immediate attention, use this phone which
will connect to the doormen in Tower I, II or III.
25. Umbrella Association members, guests, and tenants may be summarily ejected from the
pool by management personnel in the event of violation of these regulations. Violators
may be suspended from using the facility and/or filled where a hearing regarding the
violations can be conducted.
26. Umbrella Association members will direct and control the activities of themselves, their
family members, and guests in order to conform to the regulations. Residents will be
responsible for all violations or damage to property caused by themselves, their family
members, or guests, regardless of whether or not they are present.
27. Neither the Umbrella Association nor the management company is responsible for the
loss, theft, or destruction of any personal items.
28. Umbrella Association members and guests must sign in and out when there is a pool
attendant.
29. Disturbances and/or inappropriate behavior may permanently prevent the individual from
future use of the facility and may result in additional fines.
