Museum Park East Umbrella Association (MPEUA) Pet Policy
This policy relates to the outdoor areas of Museum Park East Umbrella Association neighborhood. In general, these areas include from 13th Street on the north to 14th Street on the south (excluding the city park), and from Indiana Avenue on the west to the railroad tracks on the east.
· Unit owners and their renters must abide by the Declaration, Bylaws and Rules of their individual condo or townhome association as it relates to pets.
· Pets are the responsibility of their owners (and consequently unit owners if leasing). Dog walkers and pet sitters are held to these rules as well and as such, pet/unit owners should make them aware of these policies.
· All pets must have documentation of rabies and other mandatory vaccines and comply with all municipal, state and federal laws.

· Dogs will be kept on a short leash while on the premises; being considerate of others who may be allergic or afraid. Dogs must be restrained from jumping on, rushing at, growling at, acting aggressively towards, or otherwise intimidating other residents and their pets.
· Dog owners/walkers must walk their dogs in designated areas.
· Grassed areas around the neighborhood are NOT to be used by pets.
· Designated pet / dog areas have been created with mulch and bushes. See the MPEUA designated dog run area map for the locations.
·All solid refuse must be picked up and disposed of in designated waste receptacles. Waste should not be placed in townhome trash bins which may be in the alleyway.
