Board Meetings- Minutes of all Umbrella Board meetings are posted in the documents page after they are approved by the Board. Below is a summary of the January 16th meeting. The summary is not an official recording of minutes for the meeting. The Board will vote whether to approve the recorded minutes at their next meeting on February 20th 2012.
The Board selected its officers for 2012: President-Phil Vitale, Vice-President-Michael Gomez, Treasurer-Ann Kolata, Secretary-Sue McErlean, Director-Eric Goold, Director-Galen Caldwell, Director-Mary Durham.
The Board decided to look for more design options for the bollard lights which are going to be installed where the orange cones are located around the landscape. There will be a pole light across from Tower I near 1321 S. Prairie.
There is to be a Pet Committee meeting on Wednesday January 25th in the Clubhouse Game Room. A flyer will be sent out to announce the date and time.
The Board has approved a proposal from Kinsella Landscape to perform landscape maintenance in 2012.
The Board has approved a rules change that would stop the practice of nannies and children monopolizing the Game room during late morning and early afternoon.
The Board is trying to find out information about the now-vacant lot north of 13th Street where the Museum Park sales trailer used to be in an effort to improve lighting and safety along the street..
Recycle bins must be kept inside- All recycle bins whether large or small must be kept inside garages at all times except for the day of pick-up on Thursday. No bins may ever be placed in front of the designated fire stairs nor may any other personal items be left there for any reason.
